Are you passionate about Bury and raising vital funds for our Hospice? We want to hear from you!

Bury Hospice is looking for a new community fundraiser to join its team to raise vital funds for Bury Hospice. We have to raise over 75% of our running costs, so are looking for someone who won’t take no for an answer, is skilled at organising and running community events and somebody who loves the community of Bury. Most of all we need you to rally, motivate and support our communities and schools to get involved and have fun fundraising for Bury Hospice!

You’ll need to be organised and creative for our community fundraiser role. The post involves generating income and building relationships with the communities supported by the hospice. You will grow support through excellent stewardship of supporters, effective promotion of fundraising initiatives and building a strong and sustainable volunteer network within the community. You will work as part of the fundraising team at Bury Hospice, alongside our other fundraising disciplines; sharing information and opportunities where appropriate to ensure that fundraising is maximised in order to support the work of the hospice. You will liaise closely with retail and lottery colleagues and build strong relationships with staff at all hospice sites. You’ll be at the heart of our fundraising success, helping to ensure our vital community fundraising income streams is safeguarded and increased. Your work will enable Bury Hospice to continue to provide and develop our exemplary care as we approach our 30th anniversary. The salary is £24,214 and the closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 9th March. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 17th March.
