Assistant Manager – Furniture Showroom

Salary: £ 9.02 per hour
12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Bury Hospice is looking for an experienced, hard-working and enthusiastic assistant manager to work in our Radcliffe furniture showroom on a 12 month Fixed Term contract.

This role includes a variety of responsibilities including working with the Furniture & Logistics Manager and our team of drivers, overall management of the showroom in the manager’s absence, cash handling and record keeping, encouraging and accepting donated goods for sale, preparing goods for sale, overseeing a pricing policy for the showroom.

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, which would be worked flexibly Monday-Saturday.

You must be able to move and handle heavy objects (furniture). This role will involve lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling and physical moving as and when required.

A full driving licence is required and applicants must be aged 25 or over in order to meet our insurance requirements. Full training will be given.
