Thank you for looking after mum. I am so grateful for the kind care the whole team gave to mum and for helping us through this sad time. She received excellent care and as a family we received so much support.
From a grateful daughter

Glaston-Bury 2019

This year marks the twelfth anniversary of this fantastic festival-style event and the twelfth year of fundraising for Bury Hospice, totalling almost £145,000 since the beginning when there was just one venue and ten bands raising £1400.

Fast forward more than a decade and the event has grown beyond all recognition, proudly supporting not only Bury Hospice, but a number of smaller local charities too, as well as some of the great causes of our time, such as the environment, single plastic use and recycling.

There is a great line-up for 2019 – more than 140 bands and artists are taking part, with more than a dozen indoor venues and three outdoor festival stages.  Glaston-Bury has also linked with the Fusiliers Museum to offer a Respect and Reflect space which is their way of showing respect to the elderly of our town and to our service veterans. For veterans and OAP’s, entry to this venue is completely free.

Glaston-Bury is also working with the East Lancs Railway to offer a family-friendly, multi-cultural area in the goods yard of the Transport Museum which will be alcohol and smoke free.  As with all things Glaston-Bury, there will be some great entertainment down there too!

An event of this nature costs a great deal to run and we are always on the look-out for corporate sponsorship.  If your business would like to be involved with one of the most talked about events on the Bury Hospice community fundraising calendar, for more details download the Glaston-Bury sponsporship pack from here:  Glaston-Bury Sponsorship
