LIGHT UP A LIFE 2020
Bury Hospice’s annual remembrance service entitled ‘Light up a Life’ is an important and greatly valued moment in the hospice’s calendar. We are pleased it will take place this year within the magnificent Roger Kay Assembly Hall at Bury Grammar Girls’ school on the afternoon of Sunday 6th of December.
Bury Hospice’s ‘Light up a Life’ service is an event that takes place during the festive season, bringing our community together to remember, reflect and celebrate the lives of loved ones, and those who have touched our lives during this year. An important part of the afternoon is the opportunity to remember the person close to your heart by lighting a candle and recording their name in our book of online memories.
Please consider joining us in December at our ‘light up a Life’ event which is a celebration of the memories of those most precious to us. Everyone who would like to experience our Light up a Life event can do so either in person at Bury Grammar School on Sunday 6th December at 3pm, or join us online within your own home (as we are providing Light up a Life packs). NEW DATE FOR GOLF DAY 2020
Bury Hospice is pleased to announce we have found a new date for the Bury Hospice Golf Day event which had to be deferred from its usual slot in May because of the pandemic and this new date is Thursday 1st of October 2020.
We are delighted Bury Golf Club have allowed us to find a rearranged date at their excellent facility and are thrilled that NFU Mutual have agreed to once more renew their fine association with this event as the main sponsor.
After consultation with Bury Golf Club, they have introduced certain measures to comply with the current situation. But fundamentally this will not alter the composition of the event that all have become accustomed to and have enjoyed.
Registration fee is £250 for a team of 4 which includes playing fees, two course meal and wine.
